Friend,

Veterans Day is a very meaningful one for me and for my family.

As an Iraq War veteran, having served four tours in the Middle East, having been deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and three times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, my family and I know the sacrifices that every single veteran makes for their country.

Today, it's worth taking a moment to honor our loved ones, friends, neighbors, and generations of Americans who served in our armed forces, keeping us safe.

These men and women are the patriots who proudly served our country in its hours of greatest need, and who continue to serve our communities in different ways.

Today, I hope you join us in heartfelt appreciation for the men and women who made it possible for us to celebration Veterans Day in a free, open, and prosperous country.
