Dear John,
On Veterans Day we come together as Americans to honor the brave men and women who served in our armed forces.
Our nation represents the greatest experiment in the history of the world and as such, enemies of democracy will always seek to destroy what we hold most dear. We know that our freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. Our incredible veterans put their own lives on the line to protect us and our way of life and it is important now more than ever that we honor that dedication and show gratitude for their sacrifice.
As we pause today to honor their service, may we also think about ways to inspire service in ourselves and the next generation of Americans. We can never fully repay them for their sacrifice to our nation and the freedom she embodies, but we are eternally grateful.
God bless our veterans, our active service members, and the United States of America.
