I want to take this moment to honor and thank all those who have served our country.

New Jersey is home to over 400,000 veterans. These men and women make our American way of life possible.

They answered the call to serve, and they embody our most cherished values: duty, sacrifice, and service before self. Our service members deserve our recognition — not just today, but every day. It's our responsibility to always have their backs.

That means making sure they have access to affordable housing, good-paying jobs, and higher education. As your next member of Congress, I will fight for our veterans and their families.
