Today is Veteran's Day, a day to honor the sacrifices, heroism, and contributions of those that served America.

We are truly grateful to all of our service members. It is due to the bravery and sacrifices of these veterans and their families that we are able to enjoy the freedoms America promises. They deserve our care, respect, and support.

Each day, I will continue to fight to defend the care and services veterans in New York and veterans across the country have been promised and deserve. The fact that we have homeless veterans is a stain on our country. We need to do better.
