Friend, Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to deliver remarks on Veterans Day at a ceremony at the State Capitol. I shared the quote below from President Ronald Reagan with those in attendance. Today, as we observe Veterans Day 2021, I want to share it with you:
“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”
These wise words could not ring truer. Today, please join Marty, the girls, and I in celebrating and honoring those who’ve served in our U.S. Armed Forces for their patriotism, love of country, and the immeasurable sacrifices they’ve made to protect our liberty and way of life. It is thanks to these brave men and women that we live in a country where opportunity abounds and the light of freedom shines bright. THANK YOU to all those who’ve served our great nation. - Brian
