Tuesday’s elections in Virginia and elsewhere didn’t go as we hoped or expected. Democrats lost the Virginia governorship and nearly lost statewide in deep-blue New Jersey.
It’s clear we are facing political headwinds that are difficult to predict or understand.
But just because the political winds have shifted in one direction, doesn’t mean they can’t shift quickly in the opposite direction a year from now.
We’ve known all along that flipping Texas from red to blue for the first time in 25 years was going to be difficult. But that’s why we started Boot Texas Republicans -- to do the difficult work that needs to be done to make our state a better place to live and work.
