Hi John,
My opponent has millions of dollars in corporate cash to throw at TV ads.
But progressive challengers have won against the odds before.
I need to get my message out to voters in this district, so they see they have a choice in this race: a progressive to vote for.
Can you give $7 now so I can let voters know they have a strong, working-class progressive to vote for?

This is a prime district for a progressive representative. Here are a few reasons why:
- It’s been blue for 56 years, and even stayed blue during the 1994 Republican wave that unseated Speaker Tom Foley (representative for WA’s 5th District).
- It went for Bernie in 2016, and Bernie was a close second in most of the district in 2020.
- The US Census site estimates that at least 35,000 residents of the district are new in the last year, showing that the moment is right for new leadership.
- This district has the highest number of Social Security beneficiaries of any congressional district in the state, and seniors were a large part of my voting coalition in 2020.
My opponent's weaknesses are:
- The GovTrack Ideology-Leadership Chart, based on the bills he has sponsored and cosponsored from Jan 3, 2017 to Nov 5, 2021, ranks him as the 13th most conservative Democrat in the House.
- His signature on a letter supporting Mitt Romney’s plan to cut Social Security. He was the only Democrat in Washington state who signed the letter.
- His vote on the Appropriations Committee to give $50 billion to DHS, even as DHS kidnapped protestors in unmarked vans and acted as Trump’s secret police.
- His votes for Trump’s agenda: the Patriot Act, Trump’s border wall, Trump’s defense budget, funding ICE without sufficient protections for children ripped from their parents.
- In 2014, he voted for keeping the police militarized.
- His claims that he’s for “universal health care,” when his plan would leave 10-15 million people uninsured.
- And much more.
My strengths are that I have never wavered on protecting and expanding Social Security.
I would never have funded Trump’s secret police.
I would never have voted for Trump’s agenda, and I believe children belong with their parents.
I will fight to demilitarize the police, end cash bail, and invest in Black communities in WA-06 and across America.
I’m the only candidate in this race who supports Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, and a federal jobs guarantee. Can you give $7 now to help me win, so I can fight for these priorities in Congress?
As the first Congresswoman from Washington’s 6th District, I will fight for equality and for an America where everyone belongs: not just corporate donors.
If you can, please rush a $7 donation now, because I’m still saving up for canvassing software:
