dangerous criminals a “Get Out of Jail Free” card after they are
arrested and allowing them to further endanger our communities.
Hundreds have been cut loose only to re-offend.
Violent crime rates
have spiked dramatically since this law was passed.
And the
Democrats’ weak band-aid fixes to this law ARE NOT enough!
Today,
New York is one of only two states in the entire nation that refuses to
empower judges to make an exception to bail reform and hold accused
criminals who are considered a threat to the community.
This week,
John introduced legislation in Congress to REIN IN New York’s bail
reform law.
