John, we wanted to make sure you saw this news,
because we sent it out late last night: the campaign against DA Chesa
Boudin is now official. The recall is on the ballot for
June.
[ [link removed] ]It’s never been more important to be a part of this fight. Can you make
a contribution RIGHT NOW to Stand with Chesa? Then read our full breakdown
below.

The backers of this dangerous, disingenuous recall effort are going to be
spending HUGE amounts of money to try and remove Chesa from office.
And John, it's not just about how much money
this recall effort is attracting — it’s about the funders behind
it.
Most of the funders come from a dark money group called “Neighbors For A
Better San Francisco."
There are shady rules that allow them to keep their fundraising sources a
total secret until next year.
And what little information we DO have about their donors is deeply
troubling: like William Oberndorf, a hedge fund manager who donated more
than $1 million to Republican candidates. Or other out-of-touch
millionaires like Daniel O’Keefe (a Chicago investor) and William Fisher
(heir to the GAP company fortune).
Needless to say, the stakes could not be ANY higher.
People are seeing this as a referendum on our entire movement. If these
dark money groups win, that means they will be even more emboldened to go
after our other progressive DAs.
[ [link removed] ]This is it,
John. It’s go time. Please
rush a donation right now and make sure we have the resources to beat
these recall efforts and ensure Chesa can continue his important work as
San Francisco DA.
Thank you for fighting back,
Real Justice
