On Friday, the House of Representatives passed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework (BIF), an unprecedented once-in-a-generation infrastructure package. It was a BIF-Fing deal! And cleared the way to ensure that Build Back Better is passed.
Infrastructure should not be a partisan issue, and I am so glad that the final votes in both the House and the Senate reflected that. I am confident that we will be able to pass the Build Back Better Act next week when we are back in session. And it couldn’t be more important. Because I hear the same thing again and again from our community: regardless of political affiliation, families with kids are struggling to afford childcare; people who need medication are struggling with high prescription drug costs; and across the board, the coronavirus pandemic has exacerbated issues that Americans have been facing for decades.
As we look ahead to the 2022 midterm elections, I hope I can count on you to stand with me so I can stay in office and continue this important work for American families. To show you have my back, will you chip in $5 or whatever you can spare today?

Thank you for your support — with you on my team, I know we will continue to pass historic legislation and improve the lives of all Americans.
With appreciation,
Sara
