John, here’s Dr. Val Arkoosh’s diagnosis: Climate change is a threat to public health. But the sooner we act to prevent its most catastrophic effects, the better off our planet will be for the future.

Val is ready to tackle climate change as your next U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania. Here’s her prescription for action:

Move to ban fracking nationwide while holding polluters accountable and protecting our kids from the harmful effects of fracking chemicals
Invest in clean, sustainable energy sources like wind and solar
Produce more energy-efficient vehicles and support public transit
And create good-paying union jobs while doing it — here in Pennsylvania, not in China
Val has taken on climate change as chair of Pennsylvania’s third-largest county, starting by transitioning county-owned buildings to sustainable energy. She’s prepared to do the same in the U.S. Senate. But she’s up against a party that has denied climate change even exists, at the expense of our air, water, communities, and economy.

We need to have her back — can you make a grassroots donation to send Val to the U.S. Senate? Val won’t accept a dime from corporate PACs. That’s why we need her in the Senate, standing up for science and facts to address climate change with the urgency our future requires.

Thanks for stepping up.
