In case you missed it: last week, the House of Representatives passed an unprecedented infrastructure bill that will positively affect the lives of millions of Americans. I was so proud to stand with my colleagues on this historic occasion and vote for the bill’s passage.
This once-in-a-generation legislation will turbocharge economic growth in districts like PA-07 by securing key funding to repair and improve our roads and bridges, increase access to broadband in all areas, ensure clean drinking water, and create good-paying jobs. The long-term effect of these changes is sure to be monumental.
But here’s the thing: our work is just getting started — and it can only happen with a Democratic majority in Congress. Between a razor-thin margin and upcoming redistricting, we cannot afford to lose a single seat if we’re going to hold on to the House in 2022.
