Last week we sent an appeal for volunteers to join us on behalf of School Board Trustee Mike Allman, San Dieguito High School District.  Mike was fending off a misguided and terribly expensive recall effort - orchestrated by unions intent on maintaining their power over the school board. To those of you who came out and helped I want to say: THANK YOU! Our efforts had impact! (And hey it was a nice fall weekend and we got to start each day with donuts...)

Well on Monday - I’m pleased to tell you that the proponents of the recall effort terminated their effort.  Mike and his family campaigned tirelessly against this nonsense, a massive group of parents developed on Facebook to educate other parents, and some students took to the airwaves as well.  Turns out parents and students want trustees that put their interests first!

Enough was in fact ENOUGH!
