We’re reaching out to talk about the situation that occurred in Mesa County. Back in August, it was discovered that the Mesa County clerk compromised the county’s election system when she allowed the content of voting equipment hard drives and passwords to be leaked. This confidential information was posted online and presented at the “My Pillow Guy” symposium as a tool to keep spreading the Big Lie.
Jena immediately took action to decertify the affected voting equipment because protecting the integrity of Colorado’s elections is her top priority. Can you add your name to show you stand with Jena on this?
Jena then filed a lawsuit to formally strip the County Clerk from her duties as the Designated Elections Official, and last month a Judge ruled in Jena’s favor! This ruling barred Peters from threatening the integrity of Mesa’s 2021 election. Because of Jena’s determination to uphold the values of Colorado’s elections, Mesa County residents continued to have the secure and accessible election they deserve.
As Secretary of State, Jena will always protect the integrity of Colorado’s elections. It is vital that we work together to win the fight against the Big Lie and those who wish to undermine our democracy.
