Yesterday, House Democrats released a resolution ([link removed][UNIQID]) detailing and formalizing their impeachment inquiry. This document pertains mostly to the processes and rules that the impeachment inquiry will follow.

We would like to thank our MoC’s for bravely spearheading the impeachment process. And, we have a request. The offenses investigated should include crimes of corruption, bribery, treason, dereliction of duty, racism, and dividing the American people for partisan purposes, not just election-oriented crimes, such as the ones involving the corrupt withholding of aid to Ukraine in exchange for dirt on a political opponent. Additionally, there should not be a rush - the House should conduct a thorough investigation and not send articles of impeachment to the Senate until there is some likelihood of winning a conviction.

Thank you for voting "Yes" this coming Thursday on a broad, complete, thorough, and public impeachment investigation of Trump's crimes and those of his administration. Please do not rush this crucial investigation. Take as much time as needed to expose ALL impeachable offenses.

Republicans will not allow a fair trial in the Senate, so the House investigation must function as the trial. No articles of impeachment should be sent to the Senate until public pressure ensures that a vote for conviction is possible.

CORRECTION FROM LAST WEEK! Last week, our public comment request mistakenly linked to the wrong policy that cuts SNAP for the poor - yes, there’s two. We apologize for the oversight - and it’s not too late to make things right. There’s only two days left for the re-opened comment period to prevent millions of people from losing food stamps! Please comment directly ([link removed][UNIQID]) on the proposed change with your own original comment in your own words, by Friday Nov. 1st.

Join us to help the communities impacted by the Kincaid Fire, other current wildfires, and local mandatory power outages.

Many local communities, including the poor, the homeless, the undocumented, and people newly displaced by the fires, need our help. Their lives and livelihoods are threatened by PG&E’s negligence and mandatory blackouts. We won’t forget this and are working on ways to pressure our elected officials to fix this problem - but in the meantime, join us to help those affected.
