CNN: Why the Democratic majority is shakier than ever

Did you see the latest analysis from CNN? They said Democrats’ “wafer-thin majorities in the House and Senate” are more at risk than ever before. 

This is an all-hands on deck moment, John, and one of our must-win 2022 House races is right here in Maine.

House Democrats just passed a historic infrastructure bill that will invest directly in our communities, with much-needed improvements to our roads, bridges, internet access, clean energy infrastructure, and more. 

They’re also on the verge of passing investments in affordable child care, climate change prevention and other critical priorities -- and they’re doing it all with almost no Republican votes.

The message is clear: if we want to protect our progress, we MUST defend the House Democratic majority. And with just five seats standing between us and a GOP takeover, we don’t have much margin for error.
