Between the election results in Virginia and New Jersey, their flurry of state-level voter suppression bills across the country, and "aggressive" gerrymandering in key swing states, the Republicans are feeling more emboldened than ever about their chances of retaking the House.
The GOP is already out in force here in CA-49. The chair of the California Republican Party named Mike a "top priority" to unseat in 2022. Redistricting has also added a layer of difficulty with new lines and voters joining the district.
