Earlier this year, Texas’ horrific abortion ban took effect, prohibiting abortions after six weeks, even in the case of rape and incest. All six Republican candidates for Governor are eager to pass similar legislation in New Mexico, but there is still time to stop them.

Reelecting a Democratic governor in New Mexico will ensure that abortions remain accessible and legal in this state, but we need your help. Republicans are desperate to roll back recent legislation protecting women’s right to choose, denying women access to life-saving healthcare.

Abortion bans do not reduce abortions, friend! Instead, they make them more deadly. Protecting women’s bodily autonomy is extremely important, and we cannot sit by and allow our progress to be undone.

In 2022, a woman’s right to choose will be on the ballot. These deadly abortion bans have no place in New Mexico! Will you donate $10 right now to help elect a Democratic governor and end these attacks on women’s right to choose?
