Hello ,
This is Louisiana Human Rights Commissioner Richard Perque, and I am asking you to help my friend Mayor LaToya Cantrell secure a second term by donating ([link removed]) today.
In 2016, Governor John Bel Edwards appointed me to the Louisiana Commission on Human Rights. Since taking on this role I have fought to ensure our state is welcoming to everyone no matter their skin color or sexuality. I can truly say that Mayor Cantrell has been one of few leaders in Louisiana to unapologetically fight for our state's LGBTQ+ community.

Just a month after taking office in 2018, Mayor Cantrell established a task force to study challenges facing the LGBTQ+ community, so that city policy could reflect our needs. She also created the LGBTQ+ liaison office in City Hall and fought to protect the transgender youth of Louisiana by organizing efforts to block predatory legislation in the state legislature.

I am proud to join the Forum for Equality PAC in endorsing Mayor Cantrell. The Forum for Equality has been at the forefront of nearly every major LGBTQ+ civil rights victory in Louisiana.
Join me and so many other LGBTQ+ advocates in supporting Mayor LaToya Cantrell for re-election by chipping in $20 today ([link removed]) !
