John, We just found out that a QAnon follower and January 6 insurrectionist named Scott Presler is planning to organize right-wing extremists in Pennsylvania ahead of the 2022 election, and our district is on his list. See his tweet for yourself:
This guy supports the most extreme members of the Republican Party, is a die-hard Trump devotee, and is known for bringing neo-Nazis and QAnon followers to his rallies. He was also at the Jan. 6 insurrection on the U.S. Capitol with crowds of people cheering him on. There’s no wonder why he’s coming to our part of PA: our state has the highest number of residents arrested in connection with the insurrection, and Bucks County has the most in the nation. That’s a sad, disturbing fact. What’s even more disturbing is that one of the local men investigated by the FBI for bussing hundreds of people to the Capitol riots is a close personal friend and major donor of Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick. He was on the phone with the Congressman when the FBI came knocking on his door. Fitzpatrick, Presler, and the GOP know that they need to hold on to this seat if they’re going to take back the House next November, and they’re already planning to tap into the extremism that led to the violent Jan. 6 attack on our democracy.
It’s on us to come together and stop the spread of violent extremism here in our communities. Let’s do everything we can to stop Presler, flip this seat blue, and defend our democracy. — Ashley
