Last Friday, I helped send a bipartisan infrastructure bill to the President's desk to become law. The legislation tackles so many challenges that Iowa is facing right now - from our crumbling roads and bridges to the lack of internet connectivity in our rural communities.
 
At the bare minimum, this bill will bring more than $5 billion back to Iowa to invest in everything from bridge and airport repairs to replacing lead pipes and protecting our communities from the threat of climate change.
 
We're also implementing the largest-ever investment in expanding high-speed internet access to our rural communities.
 
And we're tackling these long-overdue challenges all without raising taxes on middle class Iowans.
