Friend – I’ve just spent the last few days in Glasgow at the COP 26 global climate conference advocating for nations – including ours – to do more. There is so, so much work to be done to save our planet. 

What are anti-environment dark money groups doing? Spending a quarter of a million dollars on TV, radio, and digital ads attacking me and my support for the environment. Will they win? Not if I have your support.

In less than one year, we’ll know if they and their Republican allies succeeded in winning this seat. And with experts at FiveThirtyEight reporting the GOP is favored to take back the House, all eyes will be on battleground races like this one. 

The GOP has already put a target on my back. There have already been attacks launched against me. And to make things worse, my two self-funding opponents have already dumped hundreds of thousands of dollars into their own campaigns to flip this seat red.

That's why my team set an ambitious goal of raising $8,000 by midnight tomorrow to help us keep up our momentum and fight back against Republican attacks. But as of 12 p.m., we're falling short of our goal – and because your support is so important in reaching this goal, I thought it might be fun to call a few of my top supporters – that means you, friend! – as a way of saying thank you for donating ahead of this critical deadline. 

Will you pitch in $5 before midnight tomorrow to help us reach our rapid-response goal and keep PA-06 and the House blue? Every supporter who pitches in will be entered to receive a phone call from me as my special way of saying thank you for being part of this grassroots team.

Right now, we're facing an uphill battle, and we can't afford to wait around as my self-funding opponents write their campaigns checks to buy this seat. I know that together, we can defend this seat and our House majority, but only if we continue building resources to spread our positive message and mobilize voters across the district. 

I can't emphasize it enough, friend: Hitting this goal before midnight tomorrow is crucial to defending this battleground seat and our House majority. In fact, it's so important to me that I'm going to be calling a few of you to thank you for your support.
