Team — When the House returns from recess, they’ll be voting on the Build Back Better budget resolution.
One of the provisions on the chopping block during final negotiations is an expansive pathway to citizenship for millions of undocumented people. So before the vote, we are taking action to demand the House include immigrants in the final deal.

Our “Citizenship, Not Deportations” Week of Action began on Monday as we raised our voices to demand Democrats use their power to deliver permanent protections to our undocumented communities and halt deportations.
Today alone, volunteers around the country will host rallies in New York City, Miami, and San Diego. And later this week, volunteers will be rallying to protect immigrants in Maryland, Illinois, and New Mexico.
Democrats have a small but unique window of opportunity to deliver citizenship and relief to millions of people, which has not been done in over 30 years. But it will only happen if we apply pressure to hold elected officials accountable.
Together, let’s make our voices heard! Congress must do what is right by passing a pathway to citizenship for all 11 million undocumented immigrants who call our country home. Chip in to support UWDA as we mobilize to hold Democrats accountable to our community:
