John,

Ahead of Veterans Day, we wanted to take a moment to highlight the legislation Elaine is working on to ensure Virginia’s veterans and their families receive the care, benefits, and resources they’ve earned through service to our nation.

As a 20-year Navy veteran and member of the House Armed Services Committee, Elaine knows firsthand the unique challenges our veterans face when they transition out of service.

For Elaine, taking care of our veterans, servicemembers, and their families isn’t just personal -- it’s the right thing to do. She doesn’t take that responsibility lightly as a representative of a district that includes the world’s largest Navy base and one of the largest communities of veterans and armed service members in the country.

That’s why she’s advocated for the VA to streamline jobs programs and allow veterans to qualify for in-state tuition in any state they choose. She was also proud to have secured a cost-of-living increase for our veterans for the third consecutive year.

Of course, none of this is possible without your continued support of Elaine and her work in Congress. If you want to keep Elaine fighting for veterans in Congress, please chip in $25 or whatever you can.
