Rep. Paul Gosar posted an animated video that depicted him murdering Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and violently attacking President Biden.
It’s currently racking up millions of views online from the far-right.
We cannot tolerate threats of violence. Ever. Paul Gosar is another blight on the Congress. He should resign.

John,

Paul Gosar should have resigned yesterday.

He should have been stripped of his committee assignments. Universally repudiated by every self-respecting Republican who dares to call themselves a public servant.

But Republican Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy isn’t that kind of politician. And Republicans aren’t that type of responsible actor.

While Gosar glorifies violence against a fellow member of Congress who is already the subject of death threats, and against the President, McCarthy and the GOP won’t do a damn thing about it.

Attacking and singling out progressive women of color in Congress is the new calling card of the House GOP Caucus – led by kooks and dangerous cranks like Gosar, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Matt Gaetz, Lauren Boebert, and Jim Jordan.

It feeds a cancerous growth of bigotry, racism, and xenophobia that Donald Trump used to take over leadership of today’s Republican Party.

Gosar, a man who rubs elbows with the Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, and other white nationalists, and who was a keynote speaker at the white nationalist America First Political Action Conference, has no business being in Congress. He should have never been elected. He just doesn’t belong there.

Add your name if you agree: Paul Gosar must resign from Congress. Period. End of story. [[link removed]]

We cannot — and will not — ignore this incitement to violence.

Thank you for standing with me, and demanding an end to the glorification of political violence.
