The reckless spending bill would dictate what our children can be taught, where they can be taught, and who can care and teach them.

Those who want government bureaucrats and school unions—not parents—in charge of what children are taught have been quietly busy. They are slipping in a government takeover of day care and preschool into the reckless spending bill. Ultimately this will allow them to have more control over children and push harmful, woke curricula on our youngest children, just as we have seen happen in K-12 schools across the country.

** Infrastructure Bill May Pave Way for Cradle-to-Grave Gov't ([link removed])
------------------------------------------------------------
Late last week, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a $1.2 trillion infrastructure spending bill. This legislation paves the way for massive federal spending ([link removed]) that will fuel inflation, discourage work, and hand Washington more control over household decisions. Only $110 billion or about 10% of the bill comprises what most Americans consider traditional infrastructure (i.e., roads and bridges). Learn more. ([link removed])

** Archaic Title X Spending Harms Women and the Birth Rate ([link removed])
------------------------------------------------------------
Women are squarely at the center of Title X issues not only in pregnancy and childbearing, but also as the first line of health care for their families and at work. America’s low fertility rate ([link removed] ) , driven in part by Title X, is exacerbating the already critical healthcare labor shortage. Proposed in 1968, Title X reacted to fears of population explosion and global famine. In contrast, we now face population collapse following a long downward trend in fertility rates. Learn more. ** Renewable Energy Needs Fossil Fuel as a Backup ([link removed])
------------------------------------------------------------
With the U.N. climate summit, COP26, currently taking place in Glasgow, renewable energy and the climate have been even more in the news. While most pieces focus on different climate commitments from different countries, a recent CNBC article admitted an important point: renewable energy sources need energy backups for when they inevitably fail.

** Plan To Model Child Care After ObamaCare Is a Disaster in the Making ([link removed] )
------------------------------------------------------------
Progressives are planning to pass a massive childcare subsidy regime as part of the reckless “Build Back Better” human infrastructure package, but sadly this subsidy regime is a cut-and-paste of another poorly designed program: ObamaCare. This will be a mistake because, as ObamaCare did for health insurance, it will ultimately raise the cost of child care and hurt many American families.
