John,
So far, more than 61 million children have received the Child Tax Credit (CTC). That is remarkable—and we have to keep this effort going.
The CTC means food on the table, school supplies, medicine, and other important expenses are much more accessible to families who are facing financial strain.
However, there are still families, particularly families with the lowest incomes, who need to take further action to receive these essential payments.
Click here to join a text bank tonight, at 6 p.m. ET with CHN and our coalition partners including United State Of Women, The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, Black Women’s Roundtable, and Young Women for US to text parents who need to sign up to receive the CTC.
By texting parents tonight, you can let them know of this opportunity to receive half of their Child Tax Credit in December—but only if they sign up by November 15. A family with two children ages 4 and 7, for example, would get a CTC payment from the IRS of $3,300 in December, and get their second half after January when they file a tax return. (If they don’t sign up now, they can get their full Credit during tax season starting in January, but times are tough, and not having to wait for months will be a big help.)
This is a critical opportunity to have a tangible impact on the lives of children and families across the country. Click here to RSVP for tonight’s Child Tax Credit text bank, starting at 6 p.m. ET to help low-income families sign up to receive critical, monthly CTC payments.

Together, we can help families with low incomes get money they’re owed and fight for a future that includes all of us. I’m texting tonight—please join me!
