USA TODAY: House GOP members who voted for infrastructure bill face backlash from Republican colleagues

Just hours after voting to pass the bipartisan infrastructure bill, some Republicans who broke ranks to pass this historic legislation faced major backlash from their party.

What’s been made clear is that Democrats want to deliver for the American people, while Republicans want to obstruct and play politics with important issues. So much so that they are attacking their own colleagues who voted for this bill.

This further underscores the importance of defending and expanding our Senate majority. The American people deserve legislators who will remain focused on delivering relief to those in need, not lawmakers who will seek retribution against their colleagues.
