Donald Trump is scared. A Republican won in Virginia without him. His long-time defender Chris Christie told the party to move on from Trump. And more and more candidates in 2022 are running without him.

What Donald Trump fears more than anything is irrelevance. He fears an America where he doesn’t have power; where we, as a nation, choose a better path forward. The Trump enablers fear the same thing.

That’s why extremists like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Madison Cawthorn have declared war on the 13 Republicans who helped pass a bipartisan infrastructure bill. Bipartisanship is the enemy of extremists.

We have to stand up to the extremists and build a government that puts America’s interests ahead of their own partisan selfishness.

It’s no coincidence that several of the Republicans who are now being targeted by the extremes are on our Renewers list. There’s plenty of room for policy disagreements, especially on a bill like this. But that’s not how the radicals see it. To Dividers like Greene and Cawthorn, there’s nothing worse than cooperation, even if it means hurting the country.
