It’s us again, John, Team Eddie reaching out about a fundraising situation…

(This is absolutely not a “the-sky-is-falling-and-you’re-the-worst-person-in-the-world-if-you-don’t-donate-right-now" email. What it is is a reality check.)

The reality is our fundraising numbers have taken a major dip since the end of our first quarter. And even though we’ve outpaced Scott Franklin in total dollars raised since we launched this campaign, with the way things unfolded in Virginia, we’re getting a little worried.

But hand-wringing won’t get us anywhere. We don’t need more think pieces or hot takes, and we definitely don’t need to despair, because we can win this race.

We just need a little… momentum!
