“Conservatives are weakening the foundation of our democracy… There is still time to stop this conservative backlash to an electorate that has already soundly rejected their politics, but we could use your help to fight back.” -- Eric H. Holder, Jr.

With less than one year until the midterm elections, here’s what you need to know about redistricting in some of the states that could determine which party has the majority.

Key States: [[link removed]]
→ North Carolina: Map manipulators voted to pass gerrymandered congressional and legislative maps that carved out 10 safe Republican seats out of the total 14 districts.
→ Georgia: State senators kicked off their special session on redistricting by proposing a congressional map that was intentionally designed to eliminate competitive districts in order to protect incumbents.
→ Ohio: After missing multiple constitutional deadlines that were passed by Ohio voters, Republicans introduced egregiously gerrymandered congressional maps that would all but guarantee that Republicans win safe non-competitive elections in 87% of congressional districts.

We set a mid-month goal of raising $36,500 by Monday. Will you chip in to support our efforts to protect voting rights and end gerrymandering?

Here’s what we need to remember: there is a democracy reform bill in Congress right now that would completely change the game -- by reducing voter suppression, restoring power to the people, preventing future corruption, and finally making partisan gerrymandering illegal for congressional maps!

If we pass the Freedom to Vote Act, any map used in the 2022 midterm election would need to pass a partisan gerrymandering test. Both the Texas and North Carolina congressional maps would fail that test.

All On The Line is helping voters advocate for fair maps and democracy reforms. But we’re up against Republicans who are committed to locking in gerrymandered districts for another decade.

Can I count on you to help us meet our goal by making a donation today?
