Hi folks, I have some great news for you.

Last Friday, Congress officially passed our Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill — a once-in-a-generation investment in our infrastructure, and our nation’s largest climate legislation to date.

This legislation will create good-paying jobs, putting Americans to work not only fixing our roads and bridges, but also expanding internet access, installing electric vehicle charging stations, ensuring all families can drink clean water, building transmission lines for clean energy, and mitigating the destructive impacts of climate change.

I’m proud to have been a part of the bipartisan group of 20 Senators who wrote this bill. It even includes our RECHARGE Act, which will lower the cost of electricity for electric vehicle drivers — and will be our first bill to become law!

You know, it took some work getting this legislation to President Biden’s desk. But we proved that our democracy works, and that Democrats are here to make good on our promise to Build Back Better for working families.

Now, it’s time to keep going. We must pass the Build Back Better Act to do even more to fight climate change, expand affordable health care, lower the costs of childcare, and more. But I need you with me on this.

Will you add your name to my petition urging Congress to pass the Build Back Better Act? This grassroots team helped put pressure on Congress to pass the infrastructure package, and now, I’m asking you to raise your voice once again. [[link removed]]
