John,
The NRA is already pouring millions of dollars into their efforts to support a “guns everywhere” agenda and with the most consequential case for gun laws entering the Supreme Court for consideration, I am fighting, alongside Brady, more fiercely than we ever have before.
Every dollar you give today will help us fight the NRA in the Supreme Court — and we can’t leave anything on the table when it comes to unique match opportunities like this. Every day we don't act, we risk more pain, more tragedy, more death. Every dollar we don't raise, the NRA does. Enough is enough.

Three years ago, I introduced myself to Brett Kavanaugh at his confirmation hearing – now a justice of the Supreme Court. I said: “Hi, my name is Fred Guttenberg, father of Jaime Guttenberg who was murdered in Parkland, Florida.”
We all know that upon hearing that, he refused my hand shake, turned around, and walked away. I wanted to connect to him as a father, I wish he would’ve listened. I wanted to ask the now Supreme Court Justice to think of Jaime when he eventually hears a second amendment case – like the NRA-backed case he heard this week.

I hoped that he would look into my eyes and think of every possible way to protect his children from what happened to my daughter. I hope that he thought of his own children in court this week, but I fear that he will not think of his family or families across America broken by gun violence.
I fear he will only be hearing the arguments of a gun lobby that believes in gun sales and guns everywhere – not innocent lives. I fear that he will once again turn his back on me and on our country. I hope I am wrong.
But I know that Brady is fighting harder than ever to keep our country safe and stop the NRA from manipulating the courts to support their deadly agenda. That’s why I’m reaching out right now – I’m not exaggerating when I say your help is more essential to Brady’s success than ever. We need your help to protect more families from experiencing tragedy like mine. Will you rush a donation right now and have your gift go twice as far in this critical moment?
