John,
Progressives in Congress are wielding real power to push for real gains for working families and using their leverage to fight back against corporate Democrats — we need more like them.
The reality is that there are still too many members of Congress who answer to corporate lobbyists before their constituents. But over time, we've elected more WFP champions who are building towards not just Democratic majorities but Working Families majorities in Congress — and in 2022, we're hoping to elect a whole lot more.
So we're excited to endorse two more amazing WFP candidates for House seats — Greg Casar, running in Texas's 35th Congressional District, and Odessa Kelly, running in Tennessee's 5th Congressional District.
The road to stronger majorities for working people in Congress runs through places like Tennessee and Texas. But the first 2022 primaries are less than four months away. Can you split a contribution between Greg's campaign, Odessa's campaign, and our Working Families Majority Fund to help build the organizing power we'll need to send them to Washington?

Greg Casar is an Austin City Council Member and movement organizer. The son of Mexican immigrants, he is the youngest person ever elected to the Austin City Council. While serving on Council, Greg championed an initiative for paid medical and family leave and fought to preserve affordable housing in neighborhoods threatened by rapid gentrification. Before serving on Council, he organized alongside immigrant workers at the Workers Defense Project (Proyecto Defensa Laboral).
Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Odessa Kelly is a longtime organizer, public servant, and co-founder of Stand Up Nashville, taking on big fights for racial and economic justice. Seeing loved ones forced to make decisions out of desperation and representation that wasn't responding to the community's needs drove Odessa to take a leap of faith by running for Congress.
Both Greg and Odessa are ready to join the growing team of WFP candidates and champions in Congress to keep up the fight for a just recovery out of this pandemic and the rest of our progressive agenda.
But we know that Republicans and corporate Democrats will stop at nothing to preserve the broken status quo. That's why it's so important we continue fighting for seats we can win and defend the seats we already have.
We're ready to get to work — but our plans depend on WFP supporters like you. Split a contribution between Greg's campaign, Odessa's campaign, and our Working Families Majority Fund to help our candidates win in 2022.
In solidarity,
Joe Dinkin
