We’re amping up the pressure on democracy reform to demand the Senate take it up as soon as the recovery fight is finished Indivisibles,
The news has been a whirlwind in the last few days, and the whirlwind isn’t over. This week we’re amping up the pressure on democracy reform to demand the Senate take it up as soon as the recovery fight is finished -- and we need your help to do it.
The big news on our democracy work is we’re investing $200,000 in a major digital ad campaign targeting key holdouts on the filibuster to make sure no obstacle stands in the way of fixing our democracy. We’ve already seen some senators (see: Sen. Carper in Delaware) come out with strong commitments after pressure from Indivisibles, which means we can’t stop pushing on the uncommitted few who remain. These ads in Arizona, West Virginia, Delaware, and Colorado are doing just that.
Plus, this week, local Indivisible groups are participating in the Time to Act Week of Action to show up and speak out for democracy reform. While senators are home for recess, we’re hosting events, rallies, and more to show them we demand action. We’re supporting on-the-ground activists with digital resources, toolkits, and more.
And this is all on top of our work to pass the Build Back Better Act and save President Biden’s signature legislative priorities, which means funding ads, calling tools, and more. Doing all this takes a lot of work and a lot of resources, and that’s why we’re asking for your help.
We still have a chance to win real democracy reform in time to unrig the 2022 elections, but we need your support during this week of action: click here to donate $10 before the end of the week to fund our $200,000 ad campaign, resources for activists, and everything else we’re working on to win progressive change.

The timelines may have changed, but democracy reform is still in play -- and we need everyone on board to show our senators it’s time to act and fix our democracy so we all have a say. That means they need to commit to getting it done and getting it done now. Our constituent power is what will make it happen, so we’re glad you’re here with us.
In solidarity, Indivisible Team
