[ [link removed] ]Katie Porter for Congress

John,

Most important issues have some sort of advocacy group behind them—think
LCV, NARAL, or the ACLU. But there’s no national advocacy group for
affordable child care.

The fight for affordable child care is being led by Katie Porter and a
handful of moms in Congress.

Right now, Katie’s advocating that families spend no more than 7% of their
income on child care. The cap on child care expenses would enable many
parents to re-enter the workforce and give families extra money in their
pockets, and it could be enacted as part of the Build Back Better Act.
Affordable child care won’t just benefit families, it will benefit and
strengthen our country’s whole economy.

For years, the issues of moms and single-parents have been put on the back
burner. But thanks to your support, Katie is able to fight for families.

[ [link removed] ]This is why we need to keep Katie in Congress—chip in today to help us
make sure she is re-elected next November.

Thanks for considering!
