Adding to a growing list of shocking behavior since he took office after the 2010 elections, far-right House Representative Paul Gosar (R-AZ) has taken his extremism to new heights. Just yesterday Rep. Gosar posted a video on Twitter – created by a member of his own staff – that depicts the execution of his Democratic colleague, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. [1]
Gosar’s latest actions are not only horrific in nature but have been characterized by many as criminal. This level of extremism deserves a swift and forceful response – Rep. Gosar MUST BE EXPELLED from Congress!
Unfortunately, Rep. Gosar’s far-right extremism is nothing new.
Our team at Right Wing Watch has been documenting his actions for years. Whether it’s palling around with white nationalists and far-right extremists, providing support to the January 6 insurrectionists (even helping to organize the event), speaking at Islamophobic rallies, or urging Congress to make voter registration even more difficult – Rep. Gosar’s radicalism should not be tolerated in the halls of Congress or ANY elected office! [2,3,4,5]
Rep. Gosar is so extreme that his own siblings and children have endorsed candidates that have run against him!
Demand that the House EXPEL Rep. Gosar over his outrageous and unacceptable behavior! >>
The continued escalation of frightening behavior and actions by Rep. Gosar should be alarming to everyone – including Gosar’s constituents and GOP colleagues. But unless the House acts immediately to remove Rep. Gosar from office, he may feel emboldened to continue these escalations to an increasingly dangerous level.
