Hey John,
I want to talk about two numbers: $10,800 and $32.78.
$10,800. That’s how much J.D. Vance is asking folks for on Twitter to hang
out with him, billionaire Peter Thiel, and other conservative elites.

J.D. Vance talks a big game about being a working-class “outsider”
candidate who wants to “bring Ohio values” to Washington, then turns
around and funds his campaign through shady tactics and big checks from
wealthy donors. He may play someone who’s looking out for working-class
Ohioans on TV, but as he cozies up to these elites it’s clear that he’ll
just be a senator for the already powerful.
His sexist, racist, unacceptable rhetoric on the campaign trail is meant
to divide us based on what we look like and where we come from so he can
use big $10,800 checks to buy this race.
And here’s that other number: $32.78. That’s the average contribution to
our campaign this fundraising quarter.

I’m running for Senate because we need to actually send a champion for
working people to Washington. We’re financially supported by everyday
Ohioans giving whatever they can to help fuel our campaign, not from rich
donors writing a $10,800 check to hang out with billionaire Peter Thiel
and J.D. Vance.
And when I’m in the Senate, you can bet that it’s the concerns of the
people, not the wealthy few at conservative dinner parties, that I’ll be
looking out for.
[ [link removed] ]So John, this
is our once-in-a-generation shot to flip this open Senate seat and get our
movement of working Ohioans a voice in Washington. Can you chip in
whatever makes sense for you (and certainly not $10,800) to help fuel our
grassroots campaign?

Without grassroots supporters giving an average of just $32.78, our
campaign wouldn’t be possible — and John,
that’s the way we want it to be.
Together,
Morgan Harper
