No one should ever have to choose between buying groceries or their life-saving prescriptions.

But as prescription drug prices have skyrocketed, it's a reality many Arizonans are facing — including my own family.

Our system is broken. Drug prices have gotten out of control while Big Pharma-backed politicians have continually blocked bills to lower drug prices. The time for Congress to act is now.

Finally, Senate Democrats came to an agreement last week that will allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices. This is a reform I've been fighting for since I entered Congress.

We must pass this bill through the House and sign it into law. It's time to put Arizona families ahead of Big Pharma.
