[2]National Nurses United
During this past Saturday’s National Medicare for All Day of Action, with
the help of activists on the ground, we organized car caravans — complete
with mobile billboard trucks — in 4 key districts around the country.
That night, we also did projection actions onto buildings near the rep's
offices. Together, we called on these members of Congress to co-sponsor HR
1976, the Medicare for All Act of 2021.

Our goal is to make these priority representatives — who have all
supported Medicare for All legislation in the past and are part of the
Congressional Medicare for All Caucus — feel enough local pressure from
their constituents that they (finally) sign on to the bill.
After this weekend, we can say with confidence: our plan is working. These
representatives are feeling the pressure, and now it’s up to us to make
sure we keep up the momentum until they officially sign on to the bill.

highlights on social media? With every additional voice amplifying our
call for health care justice, the closer we’ll be to securing another
co-sponsor of Medicare for All.

If just
one of these members of Congress signs on to the bill, it will be a huge
victory for our movement. But to keep the pressure on now that our Day of
Action has passed, we need all hands on deck.

sharing our success this weekend on Facebook or Twitter?
Thank you for your support!
In solidarity,
