John,
In case you didn’t hear, the historic, job-creating, and bipartisan infrastructure package passed both houses of Congress. This has huge implications for our district – including a shift to electric school buses and increasing climate resiliency – and I could not be prouder to have voted for this transformative bill.
As I continue meeting with Central Virginians, I hear common priorities: rebuilding from the pandemic, keeping Virginia’s economy strong, and creating jobs. This long-overdue investment in infrastructure directly addresses each and demonstrates that bipartisanship is not something of a bygone era.
And, above all, this moment reminds us that when we work together, we can accomplish great things and deliver for people across the country.
The package is on its way to President Biden’s desk to be signed into law and will soon make an impact for Central Virginians. Here’s what that impact looks like in Virginia:
🚗 $7 billion invested in our roads & highways
📶 At least $100 million to fund statewide, high-speed broadband expansion
🏗️ $537 million to replace and repair our bridges
🚰 $738 million to replace lead pipes and improve our water infrastructure
Passing this bill means we are on course towards creating thousands of good-paying jobs for Virginians, saving Virginia families thousands each year, and fostering long-term economic growth. We want to ensure Virginia remains the best state in the nation for business, and this game-changing investment in our economy acts as a major boost for that goal.
I’m honored to have worked hard in passing this package, and there’s so much more I want to accomplish for Central Virginia. Will you contribute to my re-election campaign today so I can continue delivering results for Central Virginia?

Thank you for your continued support,
Abigail
