Hi John ,

Join us on Thursday, Nov. 21, at Wake’s inaugural gathering, as we kick off Milwaukee’s newest environmental networking and activism group!

Wisconsin Conservation Voters launched Wake to build our next generation of environmental leaders here in Milwaukee. Through Wake, we are engaging young people ages 18 to 40 to become more actively and intentionally involved in the conservation movement.

This is the first of Wake’s monthly meetings. On the third Thursday of each month, Wake will host engaging, fun, and interactive events that plug you into the conservation movement, and offer opportunities to expand your network of friends and colleagues.

One month we might be at a local brewery talking about clean water. The next we might hit the Milwaukee River for a kayak trip. At every event, we’ll let you know how you can make the greatest impact, give you an insider’s view of policy-making and politics, and arm you with the skills to advocate for your future.

Mark your calendars for the Wake kick-off event on Nov. 21. RSVP here, so we know you’re coming!

There is no group more awake about the future of our planet than we are. As young people, we see our future hanging in the balance – and we know we need to be part of the solution.
