Folks -- Here's what A.G. Holder told Morning Joe:

"The states that give me the most concern are Texas, North Carolina, Florida, and Georgia, the states where you have total Republican control and where Republicans have indicated a desire to gerrymander."

And here's what’s happening in those states:

➞ Texas and North Carolina have enacted gerrymandered maps (In Texas, the NDRC’s affiliate is supporting voters who filed a comprehensive lawsuit challenging the congressional map!)

➞ Georgia Republicans have introduced manipulated maps (but we are on the ground fighting to keep them from passing!)

➞ And Florida Republicans are trying to keep the people out of the redistricting process (but we are on the ground demanding that they be heard!)

A.G. Holder was absolutely right to be concerned about these four states, which will have a whopping 94 U.S. House seats between them. But the harder the GOP fights to rig the maps, the harder our team and this community is going to fight to keep it from happening and to ensure fair congressional and state legislative elections.
