This week, the Senate may vote on a bill (H.R. 2740) that would prop up the abortion industry and overseas population-control initiatives with federal funds.

H.R. 2740 contains the Shaheen amendment which gives $665 million to organizations that provide abortions.

This increase in funding for abortion providers is a violation of the bipartisan budget agreement reached in August, and senators should not even consider this bill for a vote.

We need grassroots activists LIKE YOU to call your senators today and ask that they reject any vote on H.R. 2740.

H.R. 2740 authorizes $665 million to go towards pro-abortion groups like Pathfinder International, the Population Council, and the U.N. Population Fund who perform abortions overseas.

We need our senators to know that Americans do NOT want their taxpayer dollars to support abortions.

Senators should reject any vote on H.R. 2740 as long as it contains the Shaheen amendment.
