John,

Voter turnout during the 2020 election broke records. Approximately 158.4 million Americans cast their ballots and made their voices heard.

Part of the reason for such a high turnout was because of voter accessibility. Due to the pandemic, states and municipalities across the country made voting more convenient by offering early in-person voting or absentee voting via mail-in ballots.

The United States Postal Service (USPS) played a critical role in ensuring that every vote was counted by delivering mail-in ballots to county clerks before the deadline. But, even with the success of 2020, the Postal Service still experiences back-ups and delays today.

Will you sign our petition in support of funding and protecting the USPS so that no one has to worry about their voice not being heard?

Over 65 million Americans used a mail-in ballots in 2020. And thanks to Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the House passed a bill in the summer of that year providing over $25 billion in emergency funding to the Postal Service.

But right now, the USPS still has many flaws. Congressional Democrats have been calling for Trump’s hand-picked Postmaster General Louis DeJoy to be fired for months, but the USPS Board of Governors -- the only governing body with the power to do so -- has refused to take action, despite significant delays.

That’s why we need concerned Democrats everywhere to speak up loud and clear and tell the Board of Governors that “DeJoy has to go!”

Will you add your name to our petition calling on DeJoy’s resignation and to support more funding for the USPS in order to protect our democracy?

Thank you,
