John, Halloween is tomorrow and it's sure to be filled with costumes, candy, and all sorts of tricks and treats.

But tomorrow isn't just Halloween. It's also the end-of-month deadline and, before you and your family head out to enjoy the holiday, I need to talk to you about something that really scares me: the real possibility of another four years under the Trump Administration and Mitch McConnell.

We need to reach our October goal to make sure we have the resources to support Democrats, flip the Senate and replace Trump in 2020. John, make a generous contribution before midnight tomorrow.

As long as President Trump is in the White House with the unwavering support of a Republican-controlled Senate, all of our progress will continue to be in jeopardy. That means:

There WILL be more attacks on affordable health care.
There WON'T be any progress addressing climate change and building a green economy.
There WILL be roadblocks to fix infrastructure and address transit issues.
We WON'T be able to hold Trump accountable for any abuses of power.

Now that is genuinely scary stuff.

But John: We can make sure that doesn't happen, but we have to work together and reach our goals so we can support Democrats in 2020, flip the Senate, and take back the White House.
