Good news

Kenneth Ferguson has won his Employment Tribunal case. He was sacked because of his beliefs about marriage. The level of opposition to assisted suicide, including from the Prime Minister, is also very encouraging. Vulnerable people should not be made to feel a burden. We are all made in the image of God.

Time to pray

Our Week of Prayer is coming up soon and there is so much to pray for. In particular, the Government is moving ahead with its ban on ‘conversion therapy’. It has promised not to interfere with the ordinary work of churches. Please pray that it does not cave in to the demands of activists who want to outlaw any prayer, preaching and pastoral care which contradicts their LGBT theology.
