When We All Vote

John,

It's been a week since Election Day and I've been reflecting on all the incredible work our team did this year to register more voters and turn them out to vote -- and all the work we have yet to do.

I couldn't be more proud of our When We All Vote team and volunteers and supporters like you, John, who called and texted friends, family, and community members about voting and helped to bring us closer to our goal of increasing voter participation in each and every election.

As we prepare for the midterm elections in 2022, we are facing major attacks on our right to vote. Together, we have to continue to push our elected officials to pass federal voting rights legislation to combat the voter suppression bills that have been introduced across the country. We've already seen some of these bills become law in states like Texas and Georgia. These bills not only make it harder to vote, but they also impact communities of color, young people, and people with disabilities.

So here's what I'm asking you now to do: Stay tuned in and stay involved. At When We All Vote, we're deep in planning mode ahead of the 2022 midterm elections, getting ready to mobilize our volunteers and continue our work to get our communities registered and ready to vote. We're not letting up the fight to get the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and the Freedom to Vote Act passed and we know that it's more likely to happen with filibuster reform.

So buckle up, we have a big year ahead, and as always we'll make sure that we have some fun while doing this very important work.
