Over the last year, liberals across the country have worked to defund police departments, end cash bail, and encourage parole boards to release criminals back into communities. These policies have discouraged police from doing their jobs and made life easier for criminals. Unsurprisingly, cities descended into lawless chaos, and violent crime skyrocketed.
This week, Americans issued a scathing rebuke to these dangerous policies via ballot measures. In a city that has actively defunded its police, Minneapolis voters rejected a proposal to eliminate the city’s police department entirely.
The American people are tired of living with the perils of backwards ideas and vitriolic attacks on law enforcement. Conservative
states are providing a clear contrast by treating law enforcement with respect and providing them the resources they need. Conservatives will always back the blue and prioritize safe communities.
