Fellow Republicans,

It has been my honor to serve the as the Chair of the Republican Party
of Brazos County (RPBC).  Over the past three years, we have done an
exceptional job of growing the Party here in Brazos County.  We have
facilitated the Primary elections, and supported the Republican
Party's nominee in the General Election.

The RPBC could not help our voters and candidates be successful without
the help of our Executive Committee.   The Precinct Chairs on the
Committee are here for you.  They are in place to help register new
voters, recruit volunteers, organize block walks, and encouraging
neighbors to vote.  Precinct Chairs, thank you for all the time and
effort you do volunteering to support the cause of the RPBC.

On Monday evening, November 8th, I will resign as Chair of the
Republican Party of Brazos County to pursue a professional
opportunity.  I want to thank the Executive Committee and volunteers
for their help and support.  I specifically would like to thank
Secretary Gerry Hince, Treasurer Bridget Johnson, and especially
Vice-Chair Susan Laue.  If you have been involved the past few years,
you know Susan has been the backbone of the RPBC.  She has done
everything possible to help the RPBC be successful.  Susan has answered
phones and kept Party Headquarters open and clean, coordinated
volunteers, and helped raise money for the RPBC.   We have been able
to use those funds to help educate voters and to help our Republican
candidates get elected.  Susan, thank you.

My parting advice is to stay involved.  Become a Precinct Chair.  Find
a candidate you believe in and help them get elected.  You will
discover if you find just ONE candidate to support, you will find
yourself more engaged in the entire political process.  You, as the
voter, are responsible for the future.  In our system of government,
you get the ultimate say.  Political Action Committees cannot vote.
Political Parties cannot vote.  Only you, with your vote, can speak for
you.

Thank you, the Republicans of Brazos County, for allowing me to serve as
the Chair of the Republican Party of Brazos County the past few years.
I have truly enjoyed serving in this position, and look to watching the
Republican Party of Brazos County continue to grow.
